Can teenage love be true? Can it last?

My mother doesn't think young people should have serious relationships. She thinks that it is stupid.

I agree with her on some points...but does that mean what I feel and have felt as a teenager isn't real love?

It felt like real love!

I'm young and this may not be something I need to worry about but it has been bothering me.
