Can this relationship work?

I am severely attracted to a woman who I find to be the ideal woman for me. But there are seemingly two problems: she is 30 while I am 22, and she has an 11 year old daughter.

I also just got out of a 3 year relationship with someone else about 4 months ago. I don't want her to be a rebound or a "hero". I just want to love her.

Should I any of this matter?
