Confused - My Girl Left Me For Another Man

I have this girl who said she loves me and I feel the same. But we cant be together due to outside influences.

Recently she told me that she has started seeing someone else. But she said her feelings for me haven't changed.

What confuses me is that she said she doesnt feel for the guy in that way. She just wants to see if it will work.

Should I just move on, even though it rips me to shreds or what should I do?
