If you are a religious person, your religious organization already has a pre-determined wedding vow for you and your spouse to recite to each other on your wedding day. If you're a secular person and not religiously inclined, you likely wouldn't hold your wedding ceremony in a religious place of worship. You best bet will be a government marriage registry or some other government approved service provider. Even those secular authorities have a pre-written vow that the bride and groom must recite before they are declared man and wife. In a few instances, a marriage registry may allow the couple to recite customized vows coined and written by the bride and groom. Whatever the case, the marriage vow is a commitment to love your spouse forever . . . without distractions, through good and bad times.
