He Ignores Me

Okay, so this guy i had just met asked me to the carnival, as like a informal kind of date, but he asked me too late and so i had plans already, but i said maybe we could meet up sometime, and we did.

He's really quiet and the group I was with was on the louder side, so i just hung out on the side with him hoping it would make it more comfortable. It seemed to.

I gave him my number right before the first ride we went on and he called me to give me his. We hung out for several hours before he had to leave but about five minutes after he did, he texted me saying I'm coming back at 9 tonight.

So I texted him back to tell him to let me know when he gets back if he wanted to hang out. He said yea I'd love to but his phone was dying when I gave him my number because he had been playing with it all day and it died before he called me.

I believe him, just because it was dying earlier and he's not the type to lie.

He asked me if it would always be awkward between us after he asked me out and I told him no, it wouldn't because I didn't want that either.

And I didn't really care, I really wanted to get to know him and he was a friend, he knew if I hadn't had plans there was no way I would've pasted up going with him.

He was okay for a while, he would always come stand right next to me but he seemed even shyer than usual, but you could tell he really wanted to be by me, but it was a little awkward, I still really wanted to hang out with him but he was too shy to really talk to me. And he drifted away. This is where I'm at.

He stares from across the room, he changed his daily routine it seems like to avoid me? or maybe he changed it before he met me just so he could meet me?

I don't really know, but when I'm by him it kind of comes back what we had but not entirely, he seems held back.

...and the thing is now that he don't seem to care about me, and plans his days around not talking to me, I like him, and plan my days around being near him,... but I just want his friendship back, maybe more.

What do I do?

Sir, it was long, but i really need HELP/ADVICE. Please help!!
