Here's the funny thing about love . . . everyone who is in love with someone tends to believe that the person he or she is in love with is also in love with him or her.

Some don't even bother to ask the all-important first question, "do you love me?" or the auxiliary question, "Why do you love me? What is it you love about me?"

Guess what.

Some who bother to ask the three questions above fail to go further and ask the all-important follow-up questions like . . .

1. where is this love relationship headed? Do you want something permanent or a fling? 2. Are you planning to propose someday? 3. Will this relationship last forever? Will you stay with me forever? 4. Where will we live? 5. Do you love kids? How many kids will you want us to have? 6. Are you a virgin? 7. Have you been in a relationship before? What happened with your ex? 8. Who are your friends? 9. What's up with your family? 10. What makes you mad? People generally believe the person they are having a love relationship with loves them because they . . . hang out together go to the movies together have lunch together and maybe sleep together It's great if your boyfriend or girlfriend has a good sense of humour, is all over you, and all that physical stuff. But those are not the true test of true love.

The quality of a love relationship is tested when things go wrong, when difficult situations arise.

Therefore, if you are keen on answering the question, how do you know your boyfriend loves you, then you must in your own particular case relate with your boyfriend or girlfriend in ways that allows you to dig up his or her true intentions and determine for yourself whether he or she has qualities that will stand the test of time or not.

Let me be honest with you . . . love is serious business. Love is live.

If you don't believe me, look for someone who has been in a failed love relationship and ask him or her what he or she is going through right now.

People who have been through a failed love life will tell you this . . . I am heartbroken.

When you love in the eyes of someone who has suffered from a broken heart, you can tell that they are in some way broken themselves.

Yes, being in love and then falling out of love can break your heart . . . and even break your will to live.
