I had an affair with this man I fancy. Will we be together?

I had a short affair with a man I have come to love whom I had known for many years prior to this happening.

I am in the process of separating with my current partner but the brief affair has nothing to do with that now happening as the wheels were in motion before that happened.

Since the affair ended we have maintained contact but generally on 'friendship' terms which spills into text or phone flirtation at times.

I have tried to ascertain if he sees any future for us while I know that asking anything of him while I am still living with my partner is unfair but I would just like to know if he has any notion of us having a future together.

The best way to find out what he feels for you is to ask him a direct question.

If he tries to change the subject, tell him this is really important to you and that you will appreciate a direct answer.

A point to note.

Having a relationship with another man while still with your partner is cheating. No explanation can explain this away.

Consider your steps and do what is right. You will enjoy a better love relationship and happier life.
