Emotions take time to wear off. Feelings take time to fade.

For years to come, fond memories of the time you shared with Dave will still flash back. But should you go for him?

You answered that yourself. You said he's bad for you.

Think about it. If someone is bad for you, should you hold on or let go?

You know the answer.

My advice?

Don't be worried if you still think of Dave. He was your first love. It's difficult to forget the magic of one's first love.

Just keep in mind that no one can ever be like Dave. He's unique in his own way.

James is . . . James. Dave can't be him and he can't be Dave.

If James makes you feel like the luckiest girl in the world, then you should be with him. In fact, that's what love is about.

Enjoy fond memories of him. But know that James is the man, the only man for you.
