Tell her you love her so much and that you hate to lose her. Tell her you want to be her man so you can love her for the rest of her life . . . two of you together forever.
One of three things will happen:
1. She may be excited about the prospect and accept your offer or
2. She may get frightened that you have misunderstood your relationship with her and step back or stay away from you or
3. She may politely refuse and tell you she does not feel the same way about you. And the friendship will continue as if nothing happened
Should you go ahead and tell her?
It's up to you.
If you feel strongly about having a love relationship with her, I will suggest you tell her. You never know.
