I'm Having Problems With My Wife. She's Pregnant.

by L.P.

I'm still having problems with wife. She is pregnant.

I work far from home. She's always complaining. "Why am I taking so long to come?"

She is getting a living from that but seems to forget.

How can i tell her to understand me? How can i treat a pregnant wife?

Managing Pregnancy Is Not Easy
by: Samson Itoje

Pregnancy is a huge challenge for women. It's that time when they are most irritable, that time when they complain endlessly. And that can unnerve a man.

What can you do?

You have to try and understand. You have to try . . .

You cannot completely understand the 'turmoil' inside a woman's womb when she's pregnant. And the thought that this will last everyday for 9 months can get her really disturbed especially first timers.

I know the distress. My wife just had twins and it was 9 months of restlessness.

You have to try and understand and be patient. Be extremely patient.

This isn't going to go away. You can't wish it away. It has to run its full course.

My advice?

Be close by. She needs you right now. She needs a shoulder she can lean on. Someone to keep reassuring her that everything is going to be alright. And that person is you.

I wish you the best.
