I'm in love with a loser but I'm stuck

I have a lady friend who is manipulative, but who appeals to my dark, lusty side and she has a "friend."

I am unhappily married to a well meaning man who doesn't fix things and plays computer games all day long. It takes forever for him to get anything done.

He's very sweet, but he barely functions as a human being. We both have some psychiatric problems. He's depressed, and I'm manic depressive. Yes, we both work.

Then, there's the manipulative lady friend's friend. His name is Keith. He looks like Bruce Willis. We have not had sex, nor do we plan to. We have what might be called an "emotional affair."

Anyway, Saturday night, we played "Scrabble", all three of us and we had dinner in the garden. Keith was very nice to me and then he went to his house that is located on the same property.

When I was ready to leave, he offered me a ride home. Then, the next day, I came back and he was sleepy and aloof. He said that "When you get a divorce, we will speak of kissing."

When Keith thought that I might divorce my husband after a fight that I had, he asked for a kiss. I was drunk and I gave it to him. (This was in April).

I asked for a translation from a "When you get a divorce, we will speak of kissing." I did not ask for this response; I just wanted a formal truce.

Another friend of mine translated this phrase to mean that Keith feels that he will "take me as he wants me" meaning a one night stand or some such foolishness.

Essentially, I wanted to say to Keith that I care for him, but that I cannot leave my husband because things are just too unstable at home and that our family is supporting us, and that we have a Gifted but OCD/Oppositional Defiant and ADHD son who needs our help with the behavioral aspects of starting Kindergarten in the fall. We may have to put my son on medication; we are waiting to see.

I wanted to say to Keith that he should go on with his life, but if at any point in time things did change and I was single that I would want to be with Keith.

Keith's response as to children is that he doesn't know what to do with them. As well, he questions the age difference.

Last night, when I left politely and said "Mendy, you are a good cook" Keith joked that he would marry Mendy for her cooking." Saturday, Keith was quite ugly and asked if I could cook an egg for breakfast without burning it."

What is going on here?!!!!!!!

All I wanted was to express how I felt and to call a truce--I did not ask for insult. If you could translate, that would help.
