Is my hubby having affair with my colleague?

My hubby and I work for the same company and have the same friends, including colleagues. We've had a lot of people at work tell us that they admire our relationship.

My colleague is having an affair with a married man in her office, but to get him to leave his wife, she started getting close to my hubby, which started rumours of a possible second affair. (Bare in mind that this colleague was married twice before).

My hubby told me everything about the situation but her boyfriend threatened to tell me, so my hubby arranged a party to get things straight.

The colleague and her boyfriend ended up in one of my kids' rooms the night of the party, which made my husband very angry. This caused a whole argument between us.

I don't trust anybody at the moment, including my hubby, because he started acting very strange towards me (he had an affair before we got married).

I think he's falling for this woman, who spends a lot of time in his office. And I think this woman wants me to see that there's something going on, although I don't have any proof.

What should I do about this situation because all eyes are now on me for a reaction?

Stick With Your Man
by: samson

Do not feel pressured to do anything because people are gossiping about a possible affair between your man and this woman.

Have an open discussion with him and let him know that the woman in question is known to be flirty. Let him know that you trust him and that you do not think he is having an affair with this woman.

However, since the woman is known to be flirty and promiscuous, he should watch his interactio with her.

"You're a great guy and someone any girl will do anything to have. This girl is after you. And she looks like someone who will do anything to get her way. If she can't get you, she may hit bak at you.

This girl can smear your reputation".

That kind of approach might make your man think twice.

Caution.

Do not start a fight. And do not try to impress your colleagues in the office that you're fighting for your man or doing something about the suppose 'affair'. That will only make things worse.

If anyone brings the matter to your attention in your office, tell them your hubby is a mature adult and you know he will do the right thing.

Trust your man and support him. Reason with him subtly as mentioned above. Ad trust him to do the right thing.

The threat will pass.
