It is possible to fall in love with more than one person. That is why married men and women commit adultery.

If you're already married or engaged and you meet someone you like and start some sort of friendship with that person, over time you begin to develop affection for that person. If you don't consciously stop the relationship, the bond can become so strong that you begin to compare him with your fiance or husband.

If you don't stop, you may end up with adultery. Worst still, you may contemplate leaving your mate or fiance for this other person. (Some have actually done this, cooking some flimsy excuse for the breakup).

The secret to avoid this disastrous conflict of emotion is to maintain only official and professional relationship with members of the opposite sex once you're married or engaged.
