My Boyfriend Doesn't Like To Bathe

by dee dee
(miami)

Bathing is cleansing after yourself, especially if you had a long day, been out in the sun for too long.

My boyfriend and I have been together for seven months. I love him so very much he is indeed the best thing that ever happened to me. But there is one problem: he would spend week after week and not shower and this would go on for a whole month.

I witness this time after time. And I really dont know how to approach him. He would wake up, brush his teeth and wash his face, change his boxers and undershirt and thats the deal everyday.

What should I do? Should I talk to him?

I don't know how to apporach him with this situation.... without hurting his feelings, and me not being nasty about it, cuz I found it disruptive, really.

Anyone has an opinion, don't hesitate to share...

Have A Heart To Heart Talk With Him
by: Samson Itoje

This must be a real pain for you. I've tried to imagine myself in your shoes . . . I can't stand it. And you can't too.

So, what do you do?

Talk to him about it. Have a heart to heart discussion with him.

He may not take it kindly. He may get mad at you for insinuating that he is unkept. But that should not stop you.

You're his closest friend. You are the one that can help him change.

However, understand that he may not change over night. Rememeber that this has been his habit for a long long time. It will take some time for him to revrse his lifestyle.

But whatever the case, keep at it. Never give up. And never be too scared to let him know your feelings.

Important!!!

Talk to him calmly and on a day that he's in a good mood. Tell him exactly how you feel about his habit and what he can do about it.

If he gets mad at you, don't engage him in a fight. It won't get you anywhere. If a heated discussion ensues, leave the subject for another day.

I wish you the best.
