My Boyfriend Hasn't Been Acting Like Himself

My mom and I were talking, and our talking turned to my boyfriend.

My mom thinks my boyfriend hasn't been acting like himself, and i agree.

I think it is because he's been sick lately. But then again, He's been acting some what normally to me, but to other people he's been acting strange.

My mom thinks he took up drinking again, which i agree on a bit because of his best friend is a drinker and a party-animal. But i don't know. what i should do?

Should i talk to my boyfriend? or Should I wait for him to start acting a bit like himself again?
