My boyfriend's Mother Use To Be Nice To Me But Doesn't Look At Eye To Eye Anymore. Can You Tell Me Why?

The monther of my boyfriend of 2 years now was really nice to me when she first met me and even gave me a big nice gift.

But now she hardly wants to look me eye to eye and speak.

Can you tell me why?

It's obvious I cannot tell you why because I do not know the circustances surrounding the change in the behaviour of your mother's boyfriend.

However, there are a few things that often cause mother-in-laws or would-be mother-in-laws to change their attitude.

Perhaps someone has whispered something unpleasant about you, which may be right or wrong, in her ears. Or she may have seen you do something innocently but that is a bad sign for her.

Whatever it is, you won't know unless someone she confided in tells you or if you ask her yourself.

I a big fan of "asking the right questions".

So, I suggest you ask her discreetly and humbly whenever there is an opportunity that favours it.

ALternatively, you can also ask your boyfriend. He knows his mother and could get to the root of the problem on your behalf.
