my girlfriend hardly hugs me openly

i want to know the reason for my girlfriend not wanting to hug me in the open, though younger than i am, i used to think it was age, but i am kinda confused cos sometimes she hugs me, and sometimes she does'nt.

is it due to the environment, or the faces she sees that causes it? she once said she was shy, but why should that be when she has dated several others before me?

probably doesnt want to hurt people or what?

(2)she says she does'nt double date but the kind of names people call her are the kind of names i alone should. i'm kinda confused. there is this incident that happened, a guy got her number while she was calling it for a teacher of hers and has been calling her since then and always when she is with me but i havent been reacting, he calls her names as well and she answers,this gets me really pissed off.

please what do i do?
