My Parents Dont Like My Boyfriend

i am in love with a guy for many years. I am a doctor and he is into gym business. My parents are totally against it since acc. - to them he is not as qualified as i am and all sorts of things.

I know what he is, we both are very comfortable with our respective professions but how do i convince my parents. please help.


There is no problem from his family and moreover he is a very independent guy and takes his own decisions and has always respected what i decide.

But of i am not able to decide how to convince my parents. please help
