Pretty Girl - Pretty Woman Stay Pretty But Be Humble

A pretty girl is a joy to behold. A pretty woman is mesmerizing.

Check out the spotless skin, the long ostrich-like legs, the sky-blue eyes, the imposing presence. You can't help but be impressed.

When you're a pretty woman heads turn when you pass by. And this can easily get to your head.

Many a pretty girl have become snobbish and arrogant because they see themselves as a different breed. When it comes to love relationship, many a pretty woman become overly selective.

The arrogance of a pretty girl can get to the point where no man is good enough for

her. Many make disparaging remarks about people, male and female, who are not as pretty.

Hey, pretty woman, slow down. Learn humility.

Why?

Simple. Humility pays.

Take the case of Cynthia.

Cynthia was the epitome of beauty. Her complexion was attention-grabbing, her figure compelling. She was a pretty woman in the accepted sense of the word.

Guess what?

Suitors came in droves.

But Cynthia wasn't ready to settle down. Why settle down with one man when she had countless men yearning to get a small piece of her attention?

So she played the "smart girl game" . . . changing partners at will with sheepish disregard for commitment and trust.

By the time she was forty, she was lonely and clueless.

She was still a pretty girl. But she had established a reputation for being heartless and unreliable.

The men were still coming but not the kind of men whom she would want to settle down with. The serious ones who were ready to settle down were now scanty.

Cynthia's life story has repeated itself in the love relationship of many pretty women

Pretty girls just don't get it.

Life isn't about beauty. Successful love relationship isn't about looks or physical appeal. It's about . . .

  • Trust
  • Commitment
  • Loyalty
  • Togetherness
  • Empathy, fellow feeling
  • Sharing and caring
  • Love, deep-seated affection
  • And you cannot live any of those without humility

. . . without accepting that everyone can't be as pretty as you and

. . . without accepting that you don't know it all

    Be humble. It pays.

Be committed to one guy . . . your one true love.

Find him. Then keep him. And stick with him through good and bad times.

Love is wonderful. I know because I'm in love.
