Secret Sex - Beware of The Lure of Secret Sex
Secret sex is not news. It's something we hear virtually everyday.
Come to think of it, sex often happens in secret. How many people have the guts to get on
a busy street and start making love with their girlfriend? Hardly anyone does that.
|
If sex happens in secret, why does news of secret sex get headline coverage?
It's not about the sex act, which happens regularly in any good love relationship. It's about
the parties involved in the sex scandal.
Here are some familiar sex scandal that hit the headlines in the last decade.
|
The president of one of the most powerful nation of the world had sex with a woman in his oval
office. That news grabbed headlines virtually everywhere in the world.
A prominent TV evangelist had sexual relationship with the church secretary. To cover the act,
he paid her thousands of dollars from church funds to keep her mouth shut. The news eventually
broke. The church members could not believe their ears.
There have also been headline news about boss-secretary office sex, boss-subordinate sex,
doctor-nurse hospital sex, and sexual misdemeanor among co-workers.
What do you notice about these news reports?
One thing is clear. Society expects a high standard of morality from people in high positions
and people of high social standing.
|
Think about it. Would an affair between a retched man and an insignificant woman hit the
headlines? Obviously, not.
What's the lesson here?
The simple lesson is this . . . it can happen to anyone. It can happen to you.
Secret sex is no respecter of persons. If you let yourself go, you could become the next victim.
|
Your picture could be the next one the world sees on the front page of newspapers. You could
become the next popular secret affair guy the world learns about. And your love relationship,
your marriage, could be the next one to hit the rocks because of an illicit affair.
How do bosses get that far with subordinates? How do pastors, men of God, stoop so low as to
forget their calling? How do doctors forget their professional ethics so easily?
It's the power of love. It's the
Grip of Love.
It's better not to start on the road to romance than to start and then expect to stop. The
gripping emotions involved in romance and intimacy can make you forget your position, social
status, or calling.
Before you know it, your clothes are all off your back and you're down doing the unbelievable.
My advice?
Keep a respectable distance with members of the opposite sex.
Be nice, be kind, be sweet. But don't touch her, or hold her, or kiss and neck unless she's
your wife.
The lure of secret sex is great. But remember your love relationship, your marriage. Remember
your marriage vow to love and to cherish your wife for as long as you both shall live.
Remember . . . and do the right thing.
