You Need Somebody

Your friends, classmates, or workmates have better fortunes. They get the best guys. They even have the luxury of being choosy. You watch in dismay as guys beg for their affection while you're there waiting to be noticed. "I need somebody to love!", you scream silently. But still the guys don't come. Why don't they notice you? What can you do to get noticed and be treated like a queen? |
The very first thing to do is . . . be calm. Don't panic.
Loving somebody is great. Love is exciting. Love is beyond words. But loving somebody isn't sufficient. The person you love must love you in return.
Love is a commitment between two people of like minds. Two of you become partners. You work to grow your relationship. You work to make each other happy. And live for each other. Now that you understand what love is about, here's a list of what you should not do. 1. Don't panic. Don't be in a hurry to get into a relationship |
2. Don't settle for someone who is not of like mind with you. It's a waste of time.
3. Don't equate sex with love.
4. Don't give sexual favors to attract attention
5. Don't be too forward. Don't be cheap.
Here's that critical list of what to do to get somebody to love.
1. Make yourself visible. How?
a) If you're a student, answer questions in class. Read ahead of your class so you can make meaningful contributions in class. Guys love intelligent girls.
b) If you're a member of a church, contribute to the growth of the church. Participate more in church activities.
c) Participate in community work or some other activities in your area that you love
2. Distinguish yourself. Be a woman of class.
Read wide. Listen to the news. Speak with class. Know your stuff (academic and non-academic)
3. Be visible yet difficult to get. How?
Be helpful. Offer to help with assignments or whatever else is the case in your area of influence. But be available for lunch, dinner, or a date occasionally. Guys love girls that challenge their natural instincts.
Bottom line . . . DON'T BE CHEAP.
4. Search for your class and values. Be in places that promote your belief and values and command a large audience. Somewhere in that audience is the love you seek.
You want somebody to love, right?
That somebody to love, that person you want to fall in love with, must share your goals and aspirations. He must be compatible with you. That's the only way he can make you eternally happy.
So, find the audience, the crowd, that expounds your inner belief and values. Be visible in that crowd and everywhere else you go. Someone in that audience is searching for someone like you.
That is somebody to love. The one that will make you forever happy.
One last thing.
Don't worry about your friends who get guys too easily. Most of those guys are here today and gone tomorrow.
You want something concrete, something permanent. So go for it. Let nothing stop you.
