A guy knows immediately upon meeting you whether he could ever see something lasting between you two.

Call it shallow, whatever you want, it's the truth.

The best you can do is when you meet him look as attractive as you can, smile, be happy, show interest in what he's passionate about. If he's not into you, move on to the next cause there's that guy out there who will meet you and fall head over heals. Those are the ones you want.

Also learn to love someone who is different than what you're after. Take a chance on someone you never expected you could like.

You might surprise yourself and find something better than the imaginary man you idolize in your fantasies. (if not better, let's say 'real')

A lot of times we don't know what's best for us, actually, I would say most of the time.

Stop being so damn picky and stop trying to fit people into a mold you create. Nobody is perfect.

As long as he is a good guy, the only thing that matters after that is whether you're happy when you're with him. If he makes you happy, try overlooking his annoying habit of reading everything out loud or staying until all the credits of the movie are over.

You ain't a queen girl. (Though he should treat you like one).

It may only take looks to catch a man, but it takes substance to keep one.
