Love Endures

You stand up for love if you are truly in love. Real love defends its own no matter the odds. Real love endures. Stand up for love if your love is real.

I could say that again and again and not be bored saying it. I can say that with pride because I have felt love, I swim in love.

Real love is worth the investment in time and resources because it's what makes life worth living . . . it's what makes you whole.

That may sound like exaggeration especially if

you haven't been in love before or if you have had really bad love relationships. But it's true.

Real love changes everything. Your life is never the same again when you find true love. Actually, your life takes a turn for the better when you find real love.

But, as with everything worthwhile, there are challenges . . . sometimes almost crippling challenges. That is when you need to stand up for love.

When you fall in love, you become specially attached to your lover. Unfortunately, not everyone may like the man you choose to spend your life with.

  • Your parents may think you are dangerously in love
  • Your sisters and brothers may think you are crazy in love
  • Your friends may think you are wierd

    Nobody understands you anymore. You don't understand them either.

    Why aren't your folks happy that you have finally found a guy you love and care so much about, you wonder? Why are they not as excited about the relationship as you are?

    Your love has been called to question.

    Real love endures all things. If your love is real, you will stand up for love and damn the consequences. It's not going to be easy. But it is worth it.

    True love is wonderful and exciting.

    But you must be ready to pay the price before you enjoy the blessings.

    On the other hand, if your friends and folks get along pretty well with your man and he is accepted into the family without much ado, you are especially lucky. Few people enjoy that luxury.

    For the rest of us who have to defend what we believe in . . . those of us who have to battle passionate objection from our folks . . . we know how difficult it is to make our folks accept our lover.

    If you fall into this class, stand up for love.

    Your happiness is at stake here. Don't give up on your love because of cynicism from your friends or even your parents. Real love endures. Real love stands the test of time and trials.

    If you love your man . . . if you really, really love your man . . . stand up for him no matter the odds.

    Real love wins . . . ultimately.
