Teen pregnancy has sky rocketed as teen sex has become more popular. A pregnant teen has a hard time. Teen pregnancy is proof that teen sex is bad. There is no mistaking it . . . teen sex is not for you. You risk losing everything when you experiment with sex as a teenager. This is contrary to what your friends are saying. They probably have told you sex makes you cool. |
They are totally wrong. Sex doesn't make you cool. Sex cost you something. It cost you your dignity, self respect, self esteem, and self pride.
Nothing drives the point home like teen pregnancy.
A pregnant teen knows I'm right when I say teen sex is expensive. She knows because she's living it.
What happens when a teen gets pregnant?
She becomes unhappy. She certainly wasn't expecting to get pregnant. She just wanted to enjoy the fun part of sex as her friends claimed she would.
Unfortunately, her friends neglected to tell her that sex comes with responsibilities. Pregnancy is just one of them.
Teen pregnancy suddenly changes a girl's routine. Her world as she knows it suddenly collapses.
1. Her education, more often than not, gets put on hold. The shame of being pregnant is huge. She cannot show her face in school anymore. Her schoolmates will laugh and jeer.
Besides, many school authorities do not allow pregnant school girls through their gates until the baby is out. However you look at it, the erring girl is out of school.
2. Her parents may not be inclined to face the shame. It is revolting to many parents to see their baby girl expecting a baby. Some parents have been known to chase out the pregnant teen. They send her to the man responsible for the pregnancy.
3. Even after the baby is born, things are never quite the same. The pregnancy becomes a baby needing 100% attention. A teenager has become a mother and must fulfill her role.

4. Many times, the person responsible for the pregnancy is another teen with no means of livelihood. Consequently, these teens are forced to work to earn a living to meet their obligations. There is no doubt about it . . . teen pregnancy ruins everything for a teen. It suddenly propels you from being a teen to being an adult with huge responsibilities to cater for. The sad part is that these teens have not been adequately equipped to care for these responsibilities. |
So, if you want to be happy and achieve your dreams, stay away from sex.
Sex is for mature men and women who are married. These adults are emotionally and financially equipped to handle the responsibilities of sex and marriage.
Teen sex will ruin your life. It will make you another pregnant teen with a sad story to tell.
Instead, obey God. Stay away from sex. If you do, teen pregnancy will stay away from you.
Choose your friends wisely.
Fire any of your friends who continually sing about sex in your ears. Those are not good friends. They are not friends you should keep.

Hey, you're just a teen. Don't mess with adult business.
Enjoy your teen years. Spend your time on worthwhile ventures that will enrich your life now and in the future.
