It Takes Two To Make A Relationship Work by: Samson Itoje
It takes two to tangle. It also takes two to make a love relationship work.
This is a common tale.
You love him and you're dying to be with him. But he's not paying you any attention.
In turn, he loves a girl he considers an angel and he's willing to do anything for her. But she's not paying him any attention either.
It's a common tale.
If you try hard enough, you may eventually be able to get him to love you.
However, it is often a futile effort. Two people fall in love when they resonate at the same frequency or about the same frequency.
If this guy is pushing you away, there's a reason why he's doing that. And that reason may be what makes you you.
Should you change yourself just to make him happy?
If you do, will you be happy? Will you still enjoy yourself? Will you enjoy the new you?
As a rule of thumb, a guy who does not like you the way you are, is likely not the right man for you. There are exceptions of course. But this is generally the case.
My advice?
'Sell' your qualities and let him get to know you better. Perhaps things my turn around 180 degrees and he may begin to love you.
WARNING: Don't cheapen yourself just so he can love you. You deserve better.
If he still cannot get himself to love you after your best efforts to win his heart, then he's not the right man for you.
Then quit fooling around with him and find a man who knows your worth.
Remember . . . Gold is for those who know its worth. And . . .
Don't give diamonds to pigs. They will mess with it because they don't know what its worth.
