The Commitment Phobic Guy

I met this guy 4 years ago. We used to live near each other, then I moved about 6 months into knowing him back up north.

We speak on the phone maybe every 2 weeks and I have visited him for a long weekend at least twice a year.

We have great conversations over the phone and we have a great time together in person. I love everything about this guy, we get along very well intellectually and sexually. We have alot in common in the way of family life and hobbies.

I have dated people during this time and have not met anyone who can hold a candle to this guy.

The issue is, we live so far apart. I would move down there in a second to be with him, but I don't know what would happen and if we could be together if I did move.

I need to know what's going on so I can move on with my life. How should I approach this?
