The virgin i knew has been disvirgined by a different guy

The beautiful girl i trust was a virgin when i knew her for a year. I had a lot of pride and respect for her, not knowing she had a guy elsewhere and the guy took her pride and her virginity.

After four months she came back and was apologizing to me to continue the relationship with me and also asking me to marry her.

What should i do?

Am I to continue with her or to forget about her because of what she did to me?

Whether you continue with her or not is a personal choice.

One of two things may have happened.

1. She may have been misled or seduced and she fell for it and betrayed your trust or

2. She may have changed from being the innocent girl she was to being a two-timer

If reason 1 above is responsible for her action, you may re-consider her.

However, if it's reason 2, then she may do it again and leave you in the lurch looking like a fool.

So, it's a personal choice.

If you love her and can forgive her actions, and you won't keep tormenting yourself or her over it, then you can forgive her and move on with the relationship.

But if you cannot live with it, don't pretend. Let her go.

Again, it's a personal decision.
