what does he want from me? just friendship or something else?

He says that he really likes talking to me. He gets upset when i dont call him often or dont return his calls.

he gets upset when i dont tell him about any recent happenings in my life. but again he does not meet with me that often.

he does tell me that he is very busy with his job.

again when i start to make myself distant with him he get really upset and tells me i am the only person with whom he is this much close.

what does he want from me? just friendship or something else?
