will he marry me?

I have been dating my boyfriend for a year. in the beginning of the realtionship i told him i only wanted to date to get married and have kids one day.

he said he wanted the same thing. so every now and then he would mention kids or grand kids that we would have. and one day he told me he wanted me to be his wife.

so fast forward to about a month ago we were drinking and the subject of marriage came up and he said, what if i dont want to get married!!

i was like so confused he would say that. then i started to cry and he was like stop crying there is nothing to cry about.

i said do u love me enough to get married and he was like yeah if i ever did i want u to be that girl. but dont ask me again for 5 years.

He is stressed with his job. Im 25 and he is turning 25 please help that crushed my heart.

i thought he wanted the same things as me now i just dont know.
